Board Application Extension and Chance to Meet the Board!

When I applied to the Streets.mn board in 2019, I wasn’t sure what I’d be able to contribute. I don’t have a degree in any relevant fields, but I biked a bit and liked trains. I knew I wanted to talk about urbanism and getting experience on a nonprofit board seemed really interesting. 2020 threw all of us some curveballs, but I was able to help with, of all things, running Zoom calls for Streets.mn board meetings. You never know what skills or viewpoints could be incredibly helpful to an organization!

If you’re interested in helping Streets.mn post great content and move us into new endeavors in 2023, please apply for the board!

Application Extension to Nov 23rd

With the busy fall season, we know people may be procrastinating just a bit, so we’re extending the application deadline to Wednesday, November 23rd.

If you’ve already applied, we’ve reached out!

Meet the Board on Nov 22nd

In addition, please come meet the Streets.mn Board! (And you’re certainly welcome to come even if you’re not applying this year.)

Tuesday, November 22, 6-8 p.m. at Arbeiter Brewing in Minneapolis (3038 Minnehaha Ave, next to Moon Palace Books) First drink on us! We’ll be meeting on the patio. Look for the traffic cones.

Hope to see you!
