Venturing onto quasi-public territory in the Twin Cities, you’ll find street name signs that look nothing like the typical municipal ones — or each other, for that matter.

The intersection of Dale Street and Central Avenue. At this location, both streets have honorary street names; Mr. and Mrs. Tiger Jack for Dale and Reverend Dr. James W. Battle for Central.
