Streets.mn, now more than a decade old, would not have survived and thrived without volunteers. Help shape our direction: Apply to join the board!

The Streets.mn picnic has become an annual tradition every August and a great way to come together as a community.

Get to know the leaders — all volunteers! — who keep the Streets.mn vision and values alive while pushing us toward new horizons.

Writers, photographers, videographers, mapmakers and the climate-curious: All are welcome at the first Streets.mn Contributors’ Workshop since COVID.

Are you interested in land use and multimodalism, concerned about climate change and car-focused development? You likely have skills that the Streets.mn board could use. Take a chance, apply!

Streets.mn wants to add new voices to our board of directors, for two-year terms. Volunteer coordination, brand management, social media, racial equity work and website management are skills we seek.

Although biking is the focus of this week’s “Walk the Talk” activities — and why not, with the warm summer weather — you can also learn more about monarchs and state highway funding (though not at the same event).

Join us as we travel to the Como Park Picnic Shelter for this year’s Streets.mn Picnic on August 20th, 2022!

“Walk the Talk” promotes events that help readers rediscover the joy of movement and discover a sense of place, even in their own backyards.

The Streets.mn Anti-Racism Committee seeks proposals for a racial equity analysis of our work. Deadline for applications is now Friday, August 5.
