Call for Nominations: Category 8: 2013 Best Place for Imbibing

Category 8: Best Place for Imbibing.

For us BURP stands for Buffs of Urban and Regional Planning. However it is also the sound some people make after drinking too much. The state has long been a leader in alcoholism, with a bar on every corner. We might say that beer in this state is the Gluek’s that binds us. The new trend is to combine the drinking and the brewing, ensuring freshness, but increasing the travel costs to obtain the alcohol. There are many new rooms to tap,  bars to break-in,  even pubs to pedal.

Of the places new or old

in which to quaff and quench,

Which is dearest to behold,

tell me oh swain or wench?
