The Theater of Public Policy hosts Susan Haigh, Metropolitan Council chair, who will “Explain Trains and Automobiles”.
Think coming up with your own five-year plan is a challenge? Try coming up with a 20-year plan for the entire Twin Cities region. That’s just part of the charge for our guest, Susan Haigh, chair of the Metropolitan Council. We’ll ask her all about what visions they hear from Minnesotans for the future of the Twin Cities.
Doors 6:00 – Show 7:00
Tickets: $10/$7 in advance, students, seniors or with Fringe button
What is the show?
Our interview based show is a powerful medium for exploring issues and bringing them to life using theater. All of the ideas and challenges brought up in this conversation serve as the inspiration for the improvised scenes to follow. The improvisers tasks are not to make light of the issues or mock the players involved. Instead, scenes make the previous conversation come to life with living, breathing characters in the situations described. It’s a show unlike any other.
