Meet the Editorial Team at ‘Open Office Hours’

Hey, Streets.mn community! The editorial team is holding another Open Office Hours on Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to noon. We’ll meet at Bruhaven located in Loring Park near Downtown Minneapolis.

Everyone is welcome, from the seasoned reader who has followed us for our 13-plus years of existence, to the neophyte who has yet to read a full story or listen to a podcast. Streets.mn writers (current, past and aspiring) are especially encouraged to come and workshop story ideas, talk publication logistics, help focus or find sources for their topic and generally pick our brains about anything.

Meet the managing editor, Amy Gage (who assigns stories and works directly with writers), and social media manager Bryan Formhals along with other editorial team members, board members and folks who, like you, are working to make a difference and find their voice.

We’d also like to know what you think about Streets.mn: why you read it, what could be improved.

Details, Details

Bruhaven offers coffee products, craft beers and craft sodas, as well as breakfast pizza, sandwiches and bagels. They also sell various pastries for your sweet tooth. Because Streets.mn is a volunteer-led nonprofit with a small budget, we cannot offer to pay for food or drink.
