Here it is–the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The Official Selection Committee™ has weighed in, fired up Microsoft Paint, and has put together a bracket based on the input of you, the streets.mn community. And we just can’t stress enough, you cats are great.
Due to math, we went with nine things (like teams!) for each category, with the fourth being a catchall “potpourri” category. When voting starts, we’ll have little blurby write-ups for each entry to explain it a bit. The six entries in “policy” that do not mention where they are from are from Minneapolis. Look how silly some of those long entries look–did you want to see more of those?
It is important to note that, when comparing it to the actual 2015 NCAA tournament bracket, Green Line = Wisconsin. Cast your votes wisely.
Fill out a bracket and put it up in your office! Start a highstakes pool! Tweet a picture of it! Tell your friends!
Check back tomorrow at noon to vote in the four play-in games. Will Uptown Transparent Hot Tub be 2015’s streets.m(ad)n(ess) Cinderella Story?
Just confirmed that President Obama has Holidazzle going all the way.
I see Holidazzle as the weakest #1 seed on the board, and see them losing to eventual champs Social Media Performance Art. #bracketbuster
Does it matter that Nextrip at the LRT stops seems to have gone away again (at least the last two times I used the train)?
And Holidazzle Market is a #1 seed? I thought everyone else hated it.
At a certain point, the Selection Committee™ began playing with the mouse a bit too much, so mistakes may have been made. We sincerely regret any errors.
1.) The Holidazzle Market was great
That sure is a big dis to the Green Line. Wisconsin!?
“wisconsin” is the highest compliment a light rail train can hope to receive
I want all the Policy bracket 🙁
