Well, hello there! Hopefully you are enjoying this “December” as much as possible.
We have our big event coming up in a few days! That’s right–our big 2015 streets.fundraiser is this Thursday, December 17. After some careful and measured reflection late last week, the board mulled it over and we’re going to re-tool the fundraiser to a big end of year party with a big jar and a hopeful facial expression. We raised a lot of money last month on Give to the Max day (thousands of dollars!) and we’re doing alright at the moment.
We will of course have an electronic version of a donation jar, along with snacks and drinks and activities and also Lisa Bender is coming which is pretty cool. Even without the snow you’re still encouraged to walk around Holidazzle afterwards, I heard a rumor they finally (!) got some loaner ice skates.
Also, I especially hope you consider attending if you’ve never come out to one of our events before.
We’re getting down to the wire here so please let us know that you’re coming! Bring your spouse! Bring your kids! Bring your friend! Bring a dog if less than 25 pounds–I unfortunately no longer have a cat.
