Forum Friday: Threads of the Week

Welcome to the new, experimental streets.mn feature: Forum Friday! We’re hoping to highlight some active discussions around current affairs on our forums. We encourage everyone to check them out!

This week on the streets.mn forums, long-running threads on several ongoing projects are back to life as breaking news brought them to the forefront again. Here are a few of those threads:

  • Ford Site Development: Ryan Companies are seeking subsidy for the site. Our forum members wonder what density would reduce the subsidy.
  • Rice Creek Commons: Ramsey County is seeking to dissolve the Joint Powers Authority with Arden Hills for the development of the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant. Drama is sure to ensue!
  • Downtown Retail: Some pictures of retail signs, some retail news, and some forum commenter sass.

Check out our forums today!

Nice! I’m more in the forums, every single one of them, even the Suburbs 😉 . I think this is a good experiment.

I think this is a good experiment too! I haven’t really spent any time at the forums, so it’s nice to see some highlights presented on the blog.
