MnDOT & Met Council to Host Transportation Town Halls

Minnesota Department of Transportation Commissioner Charlie Zelle and Metropolitan Council Chair Sue Haigh will be hosting a series of metro-area town halls to discuss transportation — including bicycle transport and transit — on several upcoming dates.

Dates include:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 10 – St. Paul Union Depot, Veterans Gallery, 214 E. 4th Street., St. Paul
  • Thursday, Dec. 12 – Century College, 3300 Century Ave. N., Room #2315, White Bear Lake
  • Tuesday, Dec. 17 – Burnsville High School Theatre, Mraz Center for the Performing Arts, 600 East Highway 13, Burnsville

All meetings are 4-6 p.m.

Besides speaking to various initiatives, both officials will take questions and feedback from the public. Your presence is an opportunity to let them know what you think of current initiatives, such as the SWLRT, bike boxes, protected bike lanes, highway expansion… whatever you’d like.
