A researcher at the University of Minnesota now has a live map to find real-time bus locations from MetroTransit. The Number 67 is shown. Blue is eastbound, Orange westbound.

Static version of Real Time MetroTransit Bus information map from Kevin DeRonne.
This is really cool! Also a nice clean way to visualize the routes and frequency.
Was this in response to the Geo:Code idea (http://geocodehc.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Real-Time-Public-Transit-App/108790-32556) or just a happy coincidence?
Looks like it’s down now. Did they move it somewhere else?
Brad: It was just a fun project, not in response to that Geo:Code idea. (I’m the author)
Ryan: The page hasn’t been moved, and is working now (just checked). Sometimes MetroTransit’s data server goes down.
Incidentally, you can directly view a specific route with this syntax:
http://www-users.cs.umn.edu/~deronne/project/rtmt?route=4
(This example will display route 4, just change it to any supported route.)
I hope it’s been useful.
