Art in Alleys Bike Tour this Saturday at Noon

Mpls Alley 59Join alley aficionado and public art guide Christian Huelsman on a bike ride to look at public art in Minneapolis alleys, all through the neighborhoods of Seward and Longfellow in South Minneapolis. streets.mn is proud to co-sponsor this event with Christian Huelsman, whose peerless passion for alleys will surely be contagious.

The long awaited sequel to the bike tour in Longfellow and Powderhorn is here! Presented by the Minneapolis Alley Initiative for Neighborhood Stimulation, in partnership with Streets.MN, we’ll ride approximately 10 miles through Seward and Longfellow neighborhoods, as well as Powderhorn community.

Join us with a bicycle on Saturday, August 24th for a ride throughout Longfellow and Powderhorn communities, to view an eclectic offering of alley art. PLUS, we have been invited back to the alley studio of sign painter Phil Vandervaart!

We will meet at Milkweed, located at 39th & Lake, congregating outdoors on the 39th Ave side. We will embark approximately at noon!
