Virtual Happy Hour Today! 5-7pm

!zoomers

Hey! Feeling cooped up? Missing your public space fix? Want to chat about streets, cities, and “social distancing”?

Well, come hang out on Zoom with us. Some members of the streets.mn board are hosting the first ever virtual happy hour.

I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling cooped up and would love to chat with folks. And as part of our COVID-19 measures, we’re figuring out how to use Zoom, the increasingly relevant online meeting tool, as part of our everyday organizational infrastructure.

Some log on, grab a beverage of your choice, knock the cat off your keyboard, and hang out with us!

5:00pm – 7:00pm Central Time

If you have the ability, use your favorite public space as a background? I’ll bring the streets.mn official “convening cone”.

See you then!

Oh, it’s Kilo! Also, way to catch me while I was totally failing at not touching my face.

You & Kilo look great, and you weren’t the only one touching your face. 😉

Also, I never thought this screenshot would live on in infamy.

FYI I removed the screenshot image from the post – I’d like to make sure we get people’s permission before publicly sharing.

Perhaps we could do a “group photo” screenshot in tonight’s happy hour? That way we can let everyone make sure their cats are featured (or mute their video if they don’t want to be in the screenshot).

Thanks, Jenny. I guess if people want to see Kilo they’ll have to tune in tonight*

*no promises, we’re living by the hour over here and my ability to keep track of time has completely dissolved.

Time? What day is it even???

I hope to see you and Kilo tonight. I would invite my cat Tungsten, but in addition to normal cat interference, she has audio mode (constant meowing and screeching)
