Global Fat Bike Day began in 2012 and is always the first Saturday of December. Michael’s Cycles in Chaska is among several metro-area bike shops that will be celebrating with organized rides. Duluth I-35 Corridor Plan Public Comment Map
Ongoing community outreach for the I-35 Corridor Plan has led project leaders to develop an online interactive map, where stakeholders can leave comments on issues or opportunities along the roadway. The project, led by the Metropolitan Interstate Council and the Minnesota Department of Transportation, will seek to determine a long-term vision for the I-35 corridor in Duluth. Options range from minor safety upgrades to freeway removal, so those invested in the future of the corridor should consider voicing their thoughts through the map!
