The Future of Fourth Street (video)

Back in May, Bill Lindeke wrote about how 4th Street is the key to a walkable Saint Paul. Via St. Paul Smart Trips, this is the video from the Future of Fourth Street event and the story of what the downtown bicycle loop would mean for Saint Paul.

On May 8, 2014, we opened Fourth Street in downtown St. Paul to bike and pedestrian traffic only. The event demonstrated protected bike lanes on the street and showcased Fourth’s development potential through pop-up shops and placemaking activities, turning Fourth Street into a place people want to be.
