Podcast #82 – The Minnesota Transportation Picture with Scott Dibble

dibbleThe podcast this week is a conversation with Scott Dibble, who represents Minnesota Senate District 61 covering southwest Minneapolis. For the last ten years, Senator Dibble has been a leading voice in Minnesota conversations around two key issues; the first is the equal rights movement round sexual orientation, where Dibble sponsored the gay marriage legislation that passed through the state legislature a few years ago. and the second is state transportation policy, where Senator Dibble chairs the senate transportation finance committee and has taken the lead on crafting compromise funding bill in the legislature. We sat down last week in his office at the state capitol to talk bout how he got involved in transportation policy in the first place, and the big picture of state’s transportation here in Minnesota. I hope you enjoy the conversation.
