Huong spent her most formative years experiencing the worst of car-dependency in Orlando, FL. Spending four years driving 30-minute one way, twice a day to college planted the seed of doubt that motor-normativity should be the end all to be all. Huong's politics are guided by the belief that a people-first, community-oriented, and kinder world is possible. When she's not advocating for more housing and people-over-cars transportation implementations in municipal processes, she can be found napping on her hammock around the metro.
